My Story

Hi, I'm Kynan Patram, and throughout high school and college, I was super shy and nervous and awkward around people...

I’d get really self-conscious.

I didn’t know how to meet people or what to say to them that would make them receptive and respond favorably to me.

I didn’t know how to start a conversation with someone I was meeting for the first time or how to keep it going, so that it resulted in a connection or bond with them.

Even just the thought of approaching a stranger I badly wanted to meet gave me a squeamish, gnawing feeling in the pit of my stomach, and I usually just chickened out.

I was terrified of getting rejected and looking like a fool in front of others, because I just didn’t know what to say or do.

It was a dreadful time in my life, and I felt alone, depressed, isolated and disconnected from almost everyone.

But over the period of the next few years, I made a Discovery, and because of it, I now effortlessly make friends and meet cute women everywhere I go, and I’m happy and joyful 98% of the time.

When I go to a party or the bar, I leave on a first name basis with about a dozen people, having established a connection with each one of them throughout the night, and if you want to be able to do this too, I think you should be listening to what I say.

So what was this "Discovery"?

The truth is, this Discovery just flashed into my mind one day, many years ago.

Here it is:

I realized that whenever we have a close friendship or relationship with someone, both parties know everything about each other and each others lives.

But there was usually a time when we knew nothing about each other, when we were still strangers to one another.

What happened in between that initial meeting, and where things are at now?

Isn’t it true that through many conversations, you got to know them and what their life is all about, and they got to know you and what your life is all about?

This is how you got all the friendships and relationships we have right now, correct?

So I thought about it...

What would happen if we put that exact process into motion deliberately with everyone we met, from the first words out of our mouth, and shortened the timeframe?
